Catwalk beauties Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss have been warned to step up security following threats from animal rights campaigners who plan to attack fur-wearing models.
The move follows the Animal Liberation Front's declaration it would be launching "10 attacks a night" in Britain this winter on celebrities who use fur as a fashion accessory.
High-powered fur trade bosses and celebrities are also the target of the organisation's campaign, according to Britain's Daily Star newspaper.
A spokesman for the group says: "The Labour Party promised new rights for animals, but they haven't delivered. We've been betrayed. Animal abuse continues, and now the actions will escalate."
Brazilian model Bundchen has already experienced the wrath of protestors - they surrounded her on a New York catwalk and held up signs reading: "Gisele: Fur Scum."
