Fabrice Fernandes claims he can guarantee Rangers a place in the Champions League - if given the chance by manager Dick Advocaat.
The Ibrox side are set to take on nearest rivals Hibernian on Sunday and three points are vital if they are to continue their bid for second spot in the league.
Fernandes has yet to start a game for Rangers since his move from Fulham, despite coming off the bench to score a stunning goal against Motherwell.
But he is still keen to secure a longer deal at Ibrox and insists he can impress if given regular starts.
"I guarantee Rangers three points on Sunday if I play," he said.
"That is how confident I feel and I am certain that I will score.
"But I need games. I have not played regular football for a long while now and I am just waiting for my chance.
"I know how important the game is. The Champions League is at stake and I would love nothing more than to score the winning goal.
"I want to make my move to Ibrox permanent - all I need is the chance to prove I'm worth it.
"I may be small but I'm good. Like they say, good things come in small packages.
"I respect Dick Advocaat. I think he is a great coach and I am learning new things every day from him in training.
"But the club is going through a difficult time and I would like the chance to help out.
"Rangers still have some great players and I believe player for player we are better than Celtic but I would like the chance against Hibs to show that I can offer something to the team."
