Man abducted in Dublin

An armed man abducted the driver of a vehicle at a petrol station on Kilmore Road in Artane in north east Co Dublin last night.

An armed man abducted the driver of a vehicle at a petrol station on Kilmore Road in Artane in north east Co Dublin last night.

The man was carrying a hand gun, and is understood to have appraoched the driver as he was filling-up his car.

The driver was abducted and later released in the Palmerstown area of the city.

He sustained minor injuries.
