Pendleton: I'd rather go hungry than go on 'I'm a Celebrity…'

Victoria Pendleton insists her reality TV career is now over.

The retired track cyclist finished eighth in the latest series of 'Strictly Come Dancing' but isn't prepared to go on any more reality shows, and admits she would "go hungry" if she ever appeared on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' because she wouldn't be able to do the Bushtucker Trials.

She sad: "'Strictly' was really good fun, I thoroughly enjoyed it. But I don't think I'll be doing any more reality shows. I'd go hungry if I did 'I'm A Celebrity'. There is no way I'd eat bugs and that. No way."

Victoria became a household name after winning a gold and silver medal at London 2012, but insists she is still a "nerdy gym-lover" at heart and never planned to be in the spotlight so much.

Speaking at the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2013 Awards in central London, she added: "This isn't something I've aimed to be. I didn't want to be in the limelight, it's just opportunities have come up and I've got a few glamorous sponsorship deals and things like that and people started looking at me in a different way.

"But I'm still a nerdy gym-lover really. I'm probably more at home in leggings and a T-shirt, but it is fun to dress up."

The 32-year-old star is now planning to settle down and start a family with her fiance Scott Gardner.

She explained: "I'd love to settle down. I'm looking forward to moving soon, I'm going to move down south and try to settle down a bit. Maybe I'll get some more pets first but I'd definitely love to settle down and have a family."

The FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2013 issue is out now.
