Trainers Tom George and Martin Hill have been unsuccessful in their respective appeals to reverse placings in two races.
George lodged an appeal with the Horseracing Regulatory Authority after his gelding, The Wexford Man, was demoted to second after finishing first at Uttoxeter on May 5.
The stewards on duty that day found that the seven-year-old had interfered with Ad Murum and improved his placing in doing so.
The HRA panel heard evidence from George and both jockeys involved in the race, but were satisfied that the stewards had made the right decision and therefore dismissed the appeal.
In similar vein, Hill lodged an appeal after the Southwell stewards demoted Apex to second after finding that he improved his position by interfering with initial runner-up Sugitani on May 1.
The HRA panel again heard evidence from Hill and both jockeys involved, but agreed with the findings of the local stewards.
