Gardaí have issued a warning about a conman who has robbed a number of hotels and B&Bs in Co Kerry.

Gardaí have issued a warning about a conman who has robbed a number of hotels and B&Bs in Co Kerry.

The man, described as an Irish national in his 30s, checked into the businesses posing as a worker from the BBC.

He then stole TVs, DVDs and other items from the rooms before leaving without paying.

The swindler is also believed to have posed as a garda in the past.
