Dublin Bus services to resume after three day strike action

Dublin Bus will operate a full service today - following a three day strike by workers at the company.

The industrial action has been suspended after management and unions accepted a Labour Court invitation to enter talks aimed at ending the dispute.

Workers downed tools in response to the company's decision to implement a €12m cost cutting plan.

Junior Transport Minister Alan Kelly said he is hopeful a resolution can be achieved.

"There is a will to try and achieve the savings," he said.

"the future of Dublin Bus is critical for us all, all parties recognise that

"The Labour Court obviously in bringing people together feel there is hope and they are going to investigate what hope there is there."
