Garrett O’Brien of Clover Hill, Bray had denied killing 27-year-old Seamus O' Byrne on March 13th 2009 outside the victim's home at Tymon Park North, in Tallaght.

The verdict came on the jury's second day of deliberations at the Central Criminal Court.

This was a retrial after last year's case resulted in a hung jury.
