A motion of no confidence in the Health Minister is underway in the Dáil tonight.

James Reilly is expected to secure the confidence of TDs tomorrow night in a vote with the coalition's majority.

Fianna Fáil said that Mr Reilly is reigning over nothing but dysfunction and chaos in the Department of Health and the HSE.

Fianna Fail's Health spokesperson Billy Kelleher has said this is clear given Minister Reilly's relationship with his junior Minister, Roisin Shorthall.
