Rocker Jon Bon Jovi has slammed suggestions he snubbed Michael Jackson's comeback performance at the World Music Awards in London last week, insisting he wasn't even invited to the event.
The Keep the Faith star was in the British capital for his induction into the UK Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier that week and many expected him to present Jackson with his Diamond Award at Earls Court. Bon Jovi received the same accolade at last year's World Music Awards.
However, the singer denies avoiding the presentation because of stigma following Jackson's molestation trial.
His spokesperson tells the New York Daily News: "An invitation to attend and/or present at the World Music Awards was not received."
In the end, Beyonce Knowles handed Jackson his trophy.
