Arch Swing could clash again with star filly Finsceal Beo in the Boylesports Irish 1000 Guineas - ground permitting.

John Oxx's filly suffered a first career defeat when finishing a two-and-a-half-length second to Jim Bolger's runner in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Oxx is well aware of the task she faces to turn the form around on May 27 and will only let Arch Swing take her chance if conditions suit.

"She's fine, she came out of the race very well and she's had no problems," said Oxx.

"She's on target for the Curragh where we will have another chance to take on the winner, but she looks very good and it will be hard to make up the gap on her really.

"She will only run if the ground is fast though, she is fairly ground dependent and needs it good or faster."
