Man arrested in connection with killing of kickboxer

Gardaí have today arrested a man in connection with the killing of an 18-year-old man in Dundalk in Co Louth last month.

Gardaí have today arrested a man in connection with the killing of an 18-year-old man in Dundalk in Co Louth last month.

Champion kickboxer Niall Dorr died in hospital after suffering serious head injuries in a row involving several people.

As part of the investigation, gardaí arrested a 23-year-old man in the Dundalk area.

He is being questioned at Dundalk garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

It brings to five the number of people questioned in connection with the investigation to date.
