Gardaí in Cork have issued a public appeal to help find missing 14-year-old Louise Scannell.

Gardaí in Cork have issued a public appeal to help find missing 14-year-old Louise Scannell.

Louise has been missing from the Cork City area since Tuesday, May 26 and was last seen on the Mahon area.

She is described as 4ft 11” in height, slight build, with black hair and brown/green eyes.

When last seen, she was wearing a grey hoddie, navy tracksuit pants and a pair of Ugg boots.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

Update June 10: Louise Scannell has been found safe and well.
