WATCH: Bono conducts angry ‘face-off’ with Donald Trump during U2 show

Since the US presidential election campaign began, everybodys who’s anybody has been giving their two cents on who they think should win the race.

And of course, Bono was not being left out.

The U2 frontman decided to address the topic while performing at the dreamforce event in San Francisco.

During a rendition of ‘Bullet the Blue Sky’ Bono conducted a virtual face-off which involved him speaking to cleverly edited video footage of Donald Trump on a giant stage screen.

“Now candidate,” he shouted to the screen.

The only question we have for you this evening is, what is your vision for this great nation?”

To which Trump replied, “I will build a great, great wall on the southern border of the United States.”

"A wall? Like the Berlin Wall? Like the Great Wall of China?” Bono asked, as Trump declared: “And I will have Mexico pay for the wall.”

Bono went on to say: “It’s everyone who loves the idea of America, like the Irish, for example. Or the French. Or the Brazilians. Everyone who loves the idea of America. Everyone who believes what they read at the foot at the bottom of the Statue of Liberty.”

The choreographed conversation continued in such fashion until Bono’s final message, “You’re fired”.
