Police in the North are investigating a shooting incident in Co Antrim last night.

Police in the North are investigating a shooting incident in Co Antrim last night.

Two men are today recovering from wounds after being attacked in Larne.

One man was shot in the leg at about 8.30pm in the back garden of a house at Kintyre Road in Larne.

At 11.50pm another man, who was out walking in Greenland Crescent in Larne, was approached by a man wearing an orange jacket and a balaclava and also shot in the leg.

A motive for the shootings is still not clear.
