Gardaí in Dublin are seeking assistance from the public in tracing the whereabouts of a 12-year-old girl.

Gardaí in Dublin are seeking assistance from the public in tracing the whereabouts of a 12-year-old girl.

Margaret 'Maggie' McDonagh has been missing from the Portrane area since 6pm on Saturday.

She is described as being of slim build, approx 38kg in weight and 1m 50cms in height - with brown shoulder length hair, blue eyes and a pale complexion.

When last seen she was wearing a pink Adidas top with white stripes on the arms, blue Canterbury trousers and black runners.
