Severe traffic disruption as lorry overturns in west Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man following a road accident that caused severe delays for motorists on the M50 motorway in the west of the city this morning.

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man following a road accident that caused severe delays for motorists on the M50 motorway in the west of the city this morning.

An articulated lorry overturned on the N4 flyover at 5.30am, forcing gardaí to divert all traffic to the M50.

A 53-year-old man was subsequently arrested and taken to Ronanstown for questioning.
