Wayne Rooney is set to return from an ankle injury as Manchester United defend their unbeaten record at fourth-placed Tottenham on Sunday.

Wayne Rooney is set to return from an ankle injury as Manchester United defend their unbeaten record at fourth-placed Tottenham on Sunday.

Rooney has missed two games but has trained this week and is expected to face Harry Redknapp’s men.

Nemanja Vidic and Edwin van der Sar are also fit after recent absences as United look to consolidate their position as Premier League pace-setters.
