Ahern considers reinstating Cooper-Flynn

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has announced that he will consider reinstating Beverly Cooper-Flynn to the Fianna Fail party if she is re-elected on May 17.

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has announced that he will consider reinstating Beverly Cooper-Flynn to the Fianna Fail party if she is re-elected on May 17.

Mr Ahern was in Co Mayo to help Ms Cooper-Flynn’s election campaign.

The Mayo TD was expelled from Fianna Fail last year after a jury in the High Court found that she had advised and encouraged people to evade tax.
