Tipperary 3-07 Clare 1-13
Tipperary and Clare must do it all again following a dramatic draw in the Bank of Ireland Munster football semi-final at Killarney.
Tipperary lead at the interval by 2-05 to 0-06, the goals coming from the returned and rejuvenated Declan Brown in the ninth minute and Peter Lambert in the 33rd minute.
Clare had played against the breeze and had put up a strong display, however Tipperary's goals were opportunistic and gave them a decisive egde at the break.
They even missed a penalty right at the end, Fergal Maguire saving Declan Brown's effort,
Brown, the former All-star, made up for the miss immediately at resumption when he kicked a magnificent goal into the Clare net after just 20 seconds.
The Bannermen fought back and kicked 1-03 without reply - Dennis O'Driscoll getting the goal in the 11th minute,
They managed to turn an eight point deficit into a one point lead by the 28th minute when Paul Hehir sent them in front for the first time.
However it was left to that man Brown again to level the game at the very end with a superb point.
The replay will take place next weekend.
