New network monitoring tool released
Irish internet services company Weblink Internet has teamed up with IT specialists MJ Flood Technology to launch a new web-based network monitoring tool, called Janus Monitor.
The new system allows IT staff to monitor network performance, identify suspicious internet activity and measure the performance of their own telecommunications service providers.
Janus Monitor includes more than 20 standard network probes that tap into IP-based devices and provide performance metrics instantly.
The service is delivered via fully encrypted VPN (Virtual Private Network) links. IT staff can view real-time network statistics by logging onto the secure Janus Monitor website and using their unique Login ID and password to access reports.
Weblink Internet has developed Janus Monitor and MJ Flood is rolling out a monitoring service for the product.
