Kate Moss is set to make her big screen debut in a Sadie Frost production.

The supermodel is being tempted into film acting by her friend and production company owner, who has a number of possible roles lined up for the 38-year-old star to take on if she wishes.

Sadie - the former wife of Hollywood actor Jude Law - said: "I have my own production company now called Blonde to Black and we'd love to get Kate on the big screen.

"We've got a few roles for her - no pressure. But if she wants to, we'd love her to."

Sadie previously starred alongside Kate in a TV sketch for charity Comic Relief in 2009. She said she has always encouraged Moss to star in a film and thinks now is the "right time" for her to make the transition to the big screen.

She added to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I've done a few acting roles with her. We did the little 'Sadie, Stella' thing with Katy Brand for Red Nose Day 2009 and Kate really comes across well on screen.

"I've always said to her, 'You should do it, you should do it.' I think it will be the right script and the right timing for her."

Kate previously starred in short film 'Blackadder: Back & Forth' - based on the successful British sitcom - as the fictional Queen of England and Maid Marian. She has also appeared in music videos by Elton John and Primal Scream.
