British acting couple Anna Friel and David Thewlis are set to become parents next year after the actress overcome her endometriosis condition to fall pregnant.
The Land Girls beauty, 28, was told by doctors three years ago that conception would be incredibly difficult due to the endometriosis, which causes the tissue that usually lines the womb, to grow in the sufferer's lower abdomen.
Friel, who once dated Robbie Williams, has been dating Harry Potter star Thewlis, 41, for four years.
Now, Friel has been photographed leaving a London medical centre, screaming "I'm pregnant!"
Friel's father Des says: "I'm so excited about becoming a grandad. Anna did have a medical problem so it's doubly thrilling having got over that."
The baby is due in the summer.
