A group of around 60 asylum seekers living in the Mosney centre in Co Meath are reportedly trying to establish a new Fianna Fáil cumann.

A group of around 60 asylum seekers living in the Mosney centre in Co Meath are reportedly trying to establish a new Fianna Fáil cumann.

The asylum-seekers have apparently forwarded their request to the party’s national executive, which is expected to approve the plan.

All of the asylum seekers in question are registered to vote in this year’s local elections.
