Cork's footballers qualified for a Munster final championship date with Kerry following a hard fought, keenly contested 70 minutes.

Both Cork goals resulted from defensive lapses. The first goal was in fact Corks first score and was scored by B O'Sullivan.

Their second and crucial goal was put away by Fionan Murray.

Clare battled bravely but in the end lacked the killer instinct.

Clare will now have to pick themselves up for the game against Laois next Saturday.
