Man killed in road accident

A man has died following a road accident at around 10.30pm last night in Dublin.

A man has died following a road accident at around 10.30pm last night in Dublin.

The car he was travelling in crashed through the median on the M50 southbound between the Lucan and Naas exits and into oncoming traffic. The car overturned and hit two cars travelling northbound.

The driver of the car, who’s in his 40s, was taken to the James Connolly Memorial Hospital, where he later died. It is believed that no one else was injured in the crash.
