Day Flight is one of seven British-trained entries for the Group Three Attheraces Curragh Cup on Saturday.
John Gosden’s four-year-old stepped up to an extended one mile five furlongs for the first time at Chester last month to win the Ormonde Stakes, and he will have to tackle an extra half-furlong at the Curragh.
Michael Jarvis’s dual Chester Cup winner Anak Pekan is also entered, along with the Alan Swinbank-trained Collier Hill, winner of the Gerling-Preis in Cologne last time.
Anak Pekan is also entered in the Northumberland Plate, as is Geoff Wragg’s Lochbuie, while Defining, Lost Soldier Three and Rave Reviews are the other raiders.
Aidan O’Brien has three possibles in Gold Cup fourth Wolfe Tone, one-time Derby hope Yehudi and Magritte, who has been off the track since finishing third in the 2003 Racing Post Trophy.
Dermot Weld has entered Vinnie Roe as well as Mutakarrim and Orpington, while John Oxx has the useful Mkuzi among the 19 entries.
