Plenty for Kidney to work on before Heineken Semi Final

First there's the issue of shutting out continued speculation linking him with the vacant job as Ireland coach, then there's the issue of a big European game on the horizon - now Munster coach Declan Kidney has to contend with concern over the fitness of half backs Peter Stringer and Ronan O'Gara - who were both taken off injured in their Magners League defeat to Leinster.

As he prepares his side for their upcoming Heineken Cup semi-final with Saracens on April 27 Kidney had to concede the "better team won" in the aftermath of the gruelling Magners League showdown with Leinster in the RDS.

Leinster were convincing 21-12 winners - a win that all but guarantees them this season's Magners League title.

Kidney - the bookies favourite to replace Eddie O'Sullivan as the next Ireland coach - rued his side's indiscipline in the game - particularly in the opening exchanges - which allowed Felipe Contepomi clock up an impressive 18 points from penalty kicks.

Something that needs to be eradicated if the Southern province are to repeat that dream success of 2006.
