The Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), excluding Iraq, produced 25.8 million barrels of oil daily in March, with the figure unlikely to fall much in April, according to the International Energy Agency.
Production by Iraq rose by about 500,000 barrels per day in March, the agency said in its monthly report.
The March figure for production by OPEC was in line with production figures for the previous five months.
The agency, which has recently been warning about low oil stocks in industrialised countries, said commercial stocks of oil products in the OPEC fell by 1.03 million barrels per day to 2,462 billion barrels at the end of February from the January figure.
