Two men and a woman held in relation to the murder of Dublin mother Rachel O’Reilly have been released without charge.
The arrest of one man in his 30s in north Dublin this morning had been described as “significant” by investigating gardaí.
However he was released after being questioned in Drogheda Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The other man, aged 44, was arrested yesterday in the Ballyfermot area and was held under the Offences Against The State Act.
A 36-year-old woman arrested in Dundrum on Tuesday under the same legislation has also been released.
A garda spokesman said an investigation file was being prepared and would be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Mother-of-two Mrs O’Reilly was found dead in her bedroom in Balbriggan by her mother on October 4 last year.
A post-mortem examination found she was bludgeoned to death with a blunt instrument.
Her family said they believed she knew the murderer.
