No bail for man accused of North Cork sexual assault

A 21-year old man charged with the sexual assault of a woman in Cork last Sunday has been refused bail.

The 62-year-old woman was attacked as she walked home from bingo in Charleville.

Liam Smith with an address at Donegan Place, Charleville, Co Cork, was arrested at his home yesterday and charged in connection with the attack this afternoon.
