Fine Gael has claimed that there is a black hole of over €5.5bn in Fianna Fáil's manifesto plans.

Fine Gael has claimed that there is a black hole of over €5.5bn in Fianna Fáil's manifesto plans.

The opposition party has claimed that this is the difference between Fianna Fáil's economic assumptions prior to the election and Finance Minister Brian Cowen's recent pre-budget forecast.

FG finance spokesperson Richard Bruton said this afternoon that the public is entitled to know what is going to give in Fianna Fáil's list of promises.
