The GAA has not given up hope of recouping the €38m promised to them by the Government, but pulled at the last minute.
In all the GAA was promised €77m for redevelopment work on Croke Park, but only received half that figure because of government financial cutbacks.
However, GAA President Sean Kelly will meet Minister for Sport John O'Donoghue next month and admitted: "We want to talk about the outstanding money but it's a delicate process.”
