Update 4.27pm: The owner of the shop which sold the €11m winning Lotto ticket has been speaking to reporters today.

“I’m absolutely delighted, it’s great news for Kinlough,” said Noel McGowan of McGowan's Spar on Main Street in Kinlough, Co Leitrim.

“I just hope the winner is local and they … enjoy it.

“There’s great excitement around the village, wondering who it is and of course nobody knows at this stage.

“It would make a huge difference – it’s a vast amount of money for the winner.”

National Lottery HQ has revealed where the winner of last night’s massive €11,179,621 Lotto jackpot bought the ticket.

The winning normal play ticket was purchased in Spar on Main Street, Kinlough in Co Leitrim, it was announced today.

The winning numbers drawn were 10, 11, 12, 15, 18 and 19. The Bonus number was 35.

Last night’s Lotto and Lotto Plus draws produced almost 107,000 prize winners in total which included the jackpot prize ticket holder, who now joins the list of Ireland’s top 20 biggest Lotto millionaires.

To date, 20 jackpots worth over €10m have been won by players in Ireland.

The winner of the jackpot is being urged to sign the back of the ticket and contact Lotto officials to collect the prize.
