Alan Solomons named his side to face Biarritz this Saturday in the return Heineken Cup fixture with only one change from last week's line-up.
Adam Larkin comes in at centre for Ryan Constable who was concussed in the early stages of last week's thriller at Ravenhill while Jan Cunningham moves to the bench.
Along with Constable neither Tyrone Howe, who has been sent to Poland by the national side's management for treatment on his injured hamstring, Shane Stewart, who is still suffering the effects of an ankle injury picked up against Glasgow, or Paddy Wallace who has begun rehab after fracturing his fibula against Swansea, were considered for selection.
While the win over the French champions at Ravenhill last Friday night was a confidence boost, Solomons feels that any psychological advantage Ulster may have had will be offset by the fact that Biarritz will be playing in front of their home crowd.
He said: "Saturday's fixture will be an enormous challenge but we don't fear anything. Biarritz will be very aware of our pack this week and will certainly seek to attack us there."
