Andrew Nesbitt adds another scalp to his list of victories by winning the Jim Clark Rally.
It was probably his toughest victory to date as Derek McGarrity led the Rally from the start to SS9 until a broken prop-shaft ended his charge.
Leading British Championship driver Jonny Milner inherited the lead and he and Nesbitt battled for the next five stages.
Nesbitt eventually took the lead after Milner punctured only to fall foul of a clutch problem with his Subaru. He lost 30 seconds on a road penalty and dropped time on SS15 and SS16.
Nesbitt then stormed over the final four stages to win by two minutes 37 seconds.
It will all be done over at the Manx International Rally on the first weekend of August.
