Australian star Brad Scott has been banned for three International Rules games for striking Graham Geraghty in this year's second test.

Scott landed a real hay-maker on the retired Meath full-forward knocking the blond bomber to the turf at Croke Park.

After a tempestuous first test officials from both codes chose leniency but Scott overstepped the mark and will effectively miss the next two series.

Scott's fate was decided through a midweek tele-conference.
