Tulisa Contostavlos wants a dinner date with 50 Cent.

The 'X Factor' judge was thrilled when the American rapper said he wanted to take her out for a meal and says she would "definitely" take him up on his offer.

Tulisa told Bliss magazine: "It was quite a shock. 50's someone I grew up listening to. He's a big star in my eyes so it was definitely very complimentary.

"How cool is that? I don't know if he was necessarily crushing on me - he said going for dinner, but he could mean that as a musician that he respects and wouldn't mind working with me.

"I'm really grateful after the year I've had that someone so big would speak out in the media and support me. But I'd definitely do dinner with him and I'd love to work with him!"

The 'Young' singer joked she would woo the hip-hop star by treating him to a meal at Portuguese restaurant chain Nando's.

She laughed: "All Americans that I know seem to love Nando's because they don't have it, they can't wait every time they come over here!"

Tulisa has been single since splitting from 'Skins' actor Jack O'Connell in June and was previously in a long-term relationship with her N-Dubz bandmate Fazer.

However, the 24-year-old star says she never gets asked out by celebrities - let alone fans - and claims men are too "intimidated" by her.

Tulisa said: "It's hard for celebrities to hook up because they can't really go out. When I do, half the guys I meet are fans and just want a picture!

"I haven't been approached in, forever! I guess guys are intimidated. I've never had a guy come up to me and be like, 'Hi, you alright? Can I buy you a drink?' "

Tulisa became the unwitting star of a sex tape earlier this year when her former lover Justin Edwards - aka MC Ultra - released X-rated footage of them onto the internet.
