Man found stabbed to death in Fermanagh

Police launched a murder inquiry today after a man was found dead with stab wounds at a house in Co Fermanagh.

Police launched a murder inquiry today after a man was found dead with stab wounds at a house in Co Fermanagh.

A woman, aged 37, who was also in the property near Enniskillen at the time, was taken to hospital. She had also been stabbed. It is understood her condition is not life-threatening.

The dead man was 36.

Detectives carried out a full search of the house in Edenmore Road after being called to the address at 4.20am.

Later a 34-year-old man was detained near Fintona when officers stopped a car in Tattymoyle Road. He was arrested on suspicion of murder.
