Gardaí in North Dublin are appealing for witnesses to an alleged sexual assault on a young girl.

The 14-year-old was allegedly attacked on Wednesday evening in the Balbriggan area.

No arrests have yet been made.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information about the incident to contact Balbriggan Garda Station.
