Gardaí in Ballybofey are appealing for witnesses to a fatal car crash which occurred in Co Donegal this morning.

A man in his 40s was killed when the car he was driving hit a wall on the Ballybofey to Fintown Road at Dooish at around 8.50am this morning.

The road remains closed this afternoon and diversions are in place.
