Weather causing disruption to air travel

Aer Lingus said this morning that it is experiencing some disruption to its services today due to severe weather conditions across continental Europe.

Amsterdam airport has been closed resulting in the cancellation of two flights from Dublin and Cork this morning.

Belfast Airport has also been closed, leading to further delays and cancellations.

Aer Lingus said that further disruption is expected and intending passengers are being urged to check with their airline before travelling to the airport.
