Mariah Carey is suffering from “constant” morning sickness.

The 41-year-old singer – who is expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon – admits she feels nauseous throughout the day and is also experiencing cravings for sugary drinks.

She said: “I have, like, a constant, ‘Ugh.’

“What am I craving? What do I even like? Just the little black cherry soda and cream soda.”

The couple do not know the sex of their baby – which is due next spring – but Nick is already making plans on how to forge a masculine bond with a son.

He told TV show ‘Access Hollywood’: “I just want to make sure if I do have a boy … we’re going to have to get him into like boxing classes. And hang out with me a lot earlier, because I can’t have my son …”

Mariah then interrupted: “What are you afraid of? He’s going to sing? Is that what it is?”

It was recently revealed that Nick has banned his wife from wearing high-heeled shoes during her pregnancy and the ‘Hero’ hitmaker expects she will struggle to embrace flats.

She said: “I walk on my toes anyway. That’s just how I’ve always been, so I’m like, ‘I don’t know how to wear a flat. How am I going to wear a flat? It doesn’t work.’ ”

Mariah later posted a picture on twitter of herself surrounded by flat shoes.

She captioned the image: "Nick just brought me home like 20 pairs of FLATS on his eternal quest to convert me! Lol (sic)"
