Chris Barrie thinks there is more 'Red Dwarf' to come.

The 52-year-old actor - who plays Rimmer in the sci-fi comedy series - is confident there will be more after the latest 10th series, but admits he was nervous about coming back and spoiling what fans thought of it before.

He said: "It's been very exciting to find out how the show was going to go down, but it's quite a nerve-wracking time really, you know?

"The phrase that was used was 'spoil the legacy', you know, the body of work of 'Red Dwarf', you don't want to turn up with something that's not quite on the mark, and as it's turned out, I'm really pleased with the way it's gone down.

"I think there's a lot more in the tank."

Co-star Danny John-Jules - who plays The Cat - also thinks there are more series in the show's future.

He said: "They haven't seen nothing yet. I know what everyone in this show can do, I know what we're capable of, and it wouldn't be too hard to say we were working with restrictions, but that's the mark of the man!"

'Red Dwarf X' is available now on DVD, Blu-Ray and download.
