The latest Allsop Space distressed properties auction has been cancelled after disruptions by a group of protesters became too loud.

According to Irish Examiner reporter Seán McCárthaigh protesters were accompanied by a number of TDs and warned that the auction may get unpleasant if gardaí were to remove them.

An applause and loud cheering broke out as auction personnel started to leave the building.
