Selena will snooze through Christmas

Selena Gomez plans to spend Christmas "sleeping".

The 'Spring Breakers' actress - who is rumoured to have reconciled with Justin Bieber following a brief split - won't be spending the festive season with the 18-year-old singer, but is looking forward to taking some time out and indulging in her favourite foods.

Asked by 'Entertainment Tonight' if she will be spending Christmas with Justin, she said: "No, no - that'll just be me this year.

"I'm gonna go home. I want to go home, and sleep and eat a lot of food with my grandparents … It'll be awesome."

Selena and Justin were seen enjoying a romantic dinner in New York on Monday.

The on/off couple were spotted at Marble Lane restaurant in the city where fellow diners said they looked "happy and in love" and only had eyes for each other.

A source said: "They were flirting and looked so happy together. When it came time to leave, Justin held her hand and looked very protective of her. It was sweet."

Although Justin and 20-year-old Selena reportedly split last month, the witness insisted they looked smitten with each other.

The source added: "[They were] giggling, like nothing ever happened, grabbing each other and joking."
