Industrial action possible by furniture workers

Furniture workers in 45 companies around the country whose wages are £100 below the average industrial salary are being balloted on industrial action.

Furniture workers in 45 companies around the country whose wages are £100 below the average industrial salary are being balloted on industrial action.

500 workers who are members of the building and allied trades union are being asked to reject a labour court recommendation of March 12th last.

The bulk of the workers are based in the North East and border regions.
