Holly Hunter is to follow in Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna and Nicole Kidman's foot steps by appearing on the West End stage.
The Oscar-winning actress will star in By The Bog of Cats at London's Wyndhams Theatre on December 1, after being struck by the "provocative scene" prevailing throughout London's theatre land.
Hunter says of last year's theatre domination of Ibsen plays: "There was The Lady From the Sea, Master Builder and Brand.
"That would be impossible on Broadway. It's a more provocative scene in the West End. You can see fantastic things in New York - it's just that they're fewer and farther between."
