Title triumph leaves Strachan sky high
Celtic manager Gordon Strachan was on a high after clinching the Bank of Scotland Premier League title following Shunsuke Nakamura’s dramatic injury time winner at Kilmarnock.
“I can’t explain to anyone what this is like,” he told Setanta Sports. “I would love to but I can’t.
“I’ve never taken drugs but I wonder if it’s a bit like this.
“The best team won the league. There is a difference between the best individuals and the best team.
“My players just don’t like getting beat. We have players here, like Neil Lennon, who set the standard.”
Strachan also paid tribute to Nakamura, who sparked the title party with his last-gasp winner, after Colin Nish had cancelled out Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink’s opener.
He said: “The man is a genius. When you look at the statistics, he covers more ground than anyone.
“People say that he can’t tackle. So what?”
