Although it won't get underway until February 11, the Dublin International Film Festival has already announced a line-up of over 90 screenings.
These will include Woody Allen's Melinda & Melinda, Fintan Connolly's The Trouble With Sex and Bill Condon's Kinsey, in which Ballymena-born Liam Neeson plays the controversial US sex investigator (a role for which he has collected a Golden Globe nomination).
Other top films to be shown at the four cinemas in the city centre include Steve Zissou's The Life Aquatic and Joshua Marston's Maria Full of Grace.
There will also be an ice-cream theme and a season of Irish films.
